Gliding Effortless.

Gliding effortless.

Floating water deep.
Feathered ripples reflecting.

Time to Reflect. Dawlish Warren. Devon.

Time to Reflect.

Take time to venture into our beautiful countryside.
Stop for a while and quietly take it all in.
The gaussian light reflects on the glass-like stones, the sand can't quite absorb it as it's covered with the thinnest gossamer of salt water.
There is colour, but washed; a watercolour in pixel form.

After the Storm. Dawlish Warren. Devon.

After the Storm.

The groynes are left battered and twisted after the storms of 2014.
Much of the southwestern coast was left damaged.
The Groyne is left like a propeller screwing into the sea.

Stoney Groyne. Teignmouth. Devon.

Stoney Groyne.

The fierce force of the waves has pushed and pried these beautiful pebbles between the timbers of the groyne. We often visit the coast at Teignmouth, two of our closest friends live a little way up the hill with a wonderful vista over the town and sea front.

Loch Morar in blue.

Loch Morar in Blue.

Camping by Loch Morar last Autumn was like a dream come true.
Loch Morar is situated in the North Western Highlands of Scotland, near Mallaig. The deepest body of freshwater in the British Isles. A small spit of land separates it from the open sea, with views toward Eigg and Rùm.
It has its own monster.
Camping hard on its shore slung between two Birch trees, white sandy beaches and the call of Oyster catcher.

Daisy on the Dart.

Daisy on the Dart.

When not out exploring Dartmoor or green wood carving on the farm, you might find me enjoying a coffee at a local haunt.
My micro four thirds Lumix is small enough to fit in a jacket pocket.
I was taken by the light picking the Daisy out from the stonework background.
A simple capture full of beauty.
The Daisy is my wife Sarah's favourite.
